Electrophysiological Study Treatment of Supraventricular Tachycardia by Transcatheter Radiofrequency Ablation

  • Home
  • Electrophysiological Study

This is a procedure used for:

  • Nodal Reentrant Tachycardia
  • Tachycardia mediated by hidden or manifest accessory pathways (Wolff–Parkinson–White Syndrome)
  • Common Atrial Flutter Ablation
THERAPEUTICS: VARIABLE NUMBER OF CATHETERS (3-7)
  • Left anterior descending artery
  • AV Node / His bundle
  • Right ventricular apex
  • Coronary sinus (left atrium, left ventricle / epicardial)
  • Quadrapolar 7F (mapping / ablation): right ventricle and left ventricle
  • Aurícula izquierda, Endocárdico: Transeptal
ACCESS ROUTES
  • Right / left femoral vein and artery
  • Left median/antecubital veins (coronary sinus)
  • Right/left subclavian vein
  • Right jugular vein (exceptional cases)
